Contraindications
The most common contraindications for neuromodulators are:

Certain muscular and/or neurological disorders, such as ALS and Myasthenia gravis.

Known allergy or hypersensitivity to the medication.

Pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Under the age of 22 years.
Preparation Details
To best prepare for success with neuromodulators, follow the steps below before your appointment.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment.

Discuss discontinuing aspirin and other blood thinners for three days with your primary care provider.

Arrive at your appointment with a clean face (or other treatment area), free of products or cosmetics.
